Some of our year 5/6 children built these incredible replicas of the Parthenon as part of their Homework Takeaway Menu on the Ancient Greeks. The famous temple in Athens was built in honour of Athena, Goddess of War and Wisdom – the favoured deity of that city state. In the Adventures of Odysseus, she sides with the Greek kings and helps destroy Troy and kill Paris – all because she was upset about not being considered the prettiest!! Very well done Laith, Bluebelle, Sara and Zeriga for outstanding work.
