Our EYFS and Key Stage 1 children had a very interesting visit from a man who works with elephants in Zambia. Mark, from the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation came to Pakeman to give a talk called “All about Elephants”. He helped children to understand how we all need to look after animals that could become extinct. The children listened to lots of elephant facts and learnt about how elephants use their trunks. Mark also talked about the amazing conservation work they do and showed the group pictures of the elephant keepers and researchers.
