Following on with their class work, using the popular story, The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch, Year 1 and 2 have learnt more about the main character, Mr Grinling. This week, they copied his favourite picnic food and made their very own sandwiches – just like Mrs Grinling (with no mustard)! Everyone had a lot of fun making these. The children especially enjoyed eating their sandwiches to complete the activity. They look very tasty!
