My History/Our History
This year, at Pakeman we have been learning about our own history and our own identity in a project.
We called the project My History/Our History. The aim of the project was to look at our family history in order to create a clearer sense of self and identity. We began by mixing our own different skin tones with paint. We then created our own portrait artworks on the theme of identity. As well as this, we interviewed family members. We included all of these things in a wonderful art exhibition.
